Who We Are

Via Air is a fully integrated aviation group, with a head office in Dubai, UAE, an AOC/operator in Central Africa and operational offices accross Africa and Europe. We specialize in offering swift, reliable and competitive airlifting solutions in difficult environments (unpaved runways, hard-to-reach and conflict areas) for international organizations, NGOs, businesses working in ressource extraction, logistics, conservation and tourism. We are mostly active in the African region, with past and ongoing projects in CIS countries and the Middle East.

Our History

Our history started in the Central African region, over 15 years ago, where we have become a reference aviation player for international organizations, leading humanitarian agencies and multinationals. In times marked by conflicts and humanitarian crisis, we have been assisting a variety of institutional and private actors to complete some the most critical missions, in the most remote environments. We operate our own fleet directly, as well as a limited number of aircraft managed by a restricted number of trusted and audited providers. We have our own technical teams, maintenance facilities and spare-parts stocks. This enables us to support our clients swiftly through all contexts. Our projects and offers are always tailored made and often include the provision of specialized services ranging from runway contruction to setting up full supply chains.

Our Values

To invest in long-term capacity building projects, in the countries where we operate, has been at the core of our vision and strategy. Since our beginnings, we have sought to train national staff and develop local infrastructure, as a mean to strengthen our network, rather than operate remotely or under the cover of our clients’ operations.

In the Central African Republic notably, where we started with a single piston-engine aircraft, our investments enabled us to become the only domestic airline involved in peacekeping and humanitarian operations alongside international players.
